Rail NVQs are available for the following occupational areas
1.Railway Engineering:-
- Permanent Way Renewals (NVQ Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3)
- Permanent Way Maintenance (NVQ Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3)
- Traction and Rolling Stock (NVQ Level 2 and Level 3)
- Electrification and Plant (NVQ Level 2 and Level 3)
- Rail Signal Installation (NVQ Level 3)
- Rail Signal Maintenance (NVQ Level 3)
- Rail Signal Testing (NVQ Level 3)
- Rail Telecommunications Installation (NVQ Level 3)
- Rail Telecommunications Maintenance (NVQ Level 3)
Please Note: There are no specific NVQs for Rail Engineering Design, or Level 2 qualifications for signal and telecommunications activities. Please see generic NVQs for relevant qualifications
